7 – Accountability and compliance
This topic describes some measures you can put in place to demonstrate compliance with the GDPR. You will learn about privacy by default and privacy by design. The topic also covers DPIAs, the role of the Data Protection Officer and the requirements of a contract between Data Controllers and Processors.
8 – Data breaches and the GDPR
This topic defines the concept of a personal data breach. You will also learn when to report breaches and who to report to.
9 – Exemptions and partial exemptions
In the final topic you will learn about the categories of data that are exempt or partially exempt under the GDPR. The topic also identifies what is meant by a derogation from the GDPR.
