Food Safety & Hygiene (Level 1)

What is it?

An introductory Food Safety & Hygiene online training course which ensures staff have a basic knowledge of food hygiene so they can work safely.

The information contained in this training is relevant to everyone whose role involves handling of pre-packaged low-risk foods and are required to have a basic knowledge of general food safety and best practices.

Who is it for?

This course is designed for staff who are not directly involved in the preparation or handling of food. If your role involves directly handling or preparing high-risk foods, then you will need to take a Level 2 - Food Safety & Hygiene training course.

How does it benefit your organisation?

For employers, it is an easy way to see who has accessed and passed the course, even in multi-site businesses. In the case of a total loss situation, all records and certificates are kept on our secure servers and on the cloud and can be accessed remotely.

Where can the course be taken?

The online training course is designed to fit around your business. Anyone can access the course at any time from a PC, laptop or tablet.

How long does it take?

Typically the Food Safety & Hygiene course takes 60 minutes, including the final assessment. You can revisit any of the topics and retake the assessment as many times as necessary.

When do I get my certificate?

When you have successfully passed the course you will be able to download and print your certificate straight away.
